Whilst we wait for C64 Dreams to come back from the printers - we have 7 days to go on our new Kickstarter -

If we hit the £25K mark, every backer will also get a 34-page, A5 magazine with the covers of Issue 1 to 48 of ZZAP1 64, plus any other ZZAP! artwork we have from Oliver Frey.

Hi there,
Backerkit survey sent out and files handed over to the printer, so C64 Dreams has gone to print. It is a 6-week turnaround from Turkey.
The plan was to always raise funds to print ZZAP! 64 The Legacy - a tribute to ZZAP! 64 magazine and the wonderful art by Oliver Frey.

A bit of an update...

Hi there,
Since the campaign finished, it's been a busy couple of weeks. We had the ZZAP! Live event last weekend here in Kenilworth in the UK - it was a pleasure to see you guys that came along, and I hope you had a good weekend. Here I am rubbing shoulders with the Llamasoft team of Giles and Jeff!
The last week has also been a bit of a blur due to travel. I am back at my desk now, and here I am giving a slightly delayed update.
So firstly, the book is complete and has gone through it's first major proof by Ian Osborne who used to work at Newsfield with Roger Kean and Oliver Frey back in the day. The book will now go through a final proof early this week. Our printer is waiting on the files at the end of this week - the book will then have officially gone to print, and will be back in 6 weeks or so. The plan is to add some ribbon bookmarks as well as the dust cover.
I am setting the Backerkit up today - so the questionnaire to ask for your address will be sent this week. I will also put some extra framed prints (from ZZAP! Live) that you maybe interested in purchasing as part of the process. Here is an example, Lemmings signed by the DMA team that produced each and every version of this game across ALL platforms:
VAT will be need to be paid by our EU friends.
Also, if you have used a protected Apple E-mail in Kickstarter, can you unprotect it as your E-mail will not be pulled into Backerkit and thus you will not get the questionnaire.
I plan to send out the mugs and framed prints at the end of the week whilst we wait for the books to return from the printers.

Hi there,
So we have hit the £25K mark - what I was thinking was including a copy of Fusion 64 with each book as a stretch goal. The magazine has been out of stock for a number of years, and it might be cool to do a new print run of it. May revise a little...
